What are Pedals?

Pedals attach to the crank arms and give your feet a platform to push against — either flat, or 'clipless' pedals that lock your cycling shoe in place.

How it works
Flat pedals simply spin on a bearing and rely on grip and shoe tread. Clipless pedals use a spring-loaded mechanism that clamps onto a cleat bolted to the sole of a compatible shoe.
Signs of trouble
- ⚠Play or wobble in the pedal body
- ⚠Clipless mechanism won't release or engage cleanly
- ⚠Grinding feeling when spinning by hand
