The battery is a sealed pack of lithium cells, usually mounted on the frame or in the rack, that stores the energy your motor draws on as you ride.

How it works
Charging pushes energy into the cells; riding with assist draws it back out. Range depends on assist level, terrain, rider weight and battery age.
Signs of trouble

- ⚠Won't hold charge overnight
- ⚠Warning light or error code on the display
