Dropper Seatposts
Why some bikes let you drop your saddle without stopping.

What it is
A dropper post lets you lower your saddle at the push of a lever, moving your weight back and giving more room to manoeuvre on descents or technical terrain, then raise it again instantly for efficient pedalling.
Why it matters
It's become close to standard on mountain bikes because it removes the trade-off between a saddle height that's efficient for climbing and one that's safe for descending.
